Children’s first dental check-up

We recommend that you bring your child in with you for your own check-ups initially to introduce them to the environment and get used to the concept. This can develop to allow a “ride in the chair” before there is need for a specific examination.

By the age of 2, children should be having their own, more formal, check-up, which is often little more than a brief look. But occasionally there are problems, which if found early can be minimised.
